Progression Can Move As Fast As You Allow It

Before this year, I was going with the flow with God. @TheWorldRace is what really inspired me to be where I am at now and where I hopefully will be by the end of the year. I became obsessed with this year long mission trip away from this easy going life; to crave Jesus on another level. And also because I am super adventurous, eager to learn, amazed by Gods creations, all about new experiences, and love giving love/making souls happy.

I turned 21 in September (2015) and my lease was up on my apartment in October. My best friend lived in San Diego and supported me and my goals and allowed me to come live with her so I could save money for my mission trip (in October of 2016). SO that was it, I sold all my furniture or gave it away, only saving behind personal belongings. I didn't care about all my stuff. I just knew I was passionate about 1 thing: Changing the World. It starts with yourself, and little by little the world can shift. There is an illusion that most people see; we are just one person of billions. What can 1 mere person do? Don't ever fall for this silly illusion.
It comes straight from the deceiving enemy. he (lowercase h) knows how powerful your potential can be if released and will do anything to put fear, doubt, and basic living to distract you from what God has for you.

Before I left, I had my second encounter with God/Holy Spirit, and He said clearly, "Focus, so I can fulfill the plans I have for you. I love you and I am with you." Now for the people who may be asking,"How do you know God said that?", "How did you hear him?", so on...
Well, when you begin to depend, trust, ask, (by asking I mean asking Him to be revealed in your life and for His presence to be around you; and asking for wisdom/understanding/truth for yourself) and faithfully believe when you pray...you will know when He speaks. How I heard it was in my head. But it wasn't my thought. It's hard to put it into words because things that are Heavenly Sent is hard to explain with basic language we have.
It was like a soft, bold, comforting voice. It was so bold in my head that it touched my soul. It was so clear. After that, I felt the Holy Spirit putting me in joy and peace (btw this is at like 5-7am lol). This may sound different and off to people, but my oh my, "when its real you just know it". And God is the real MVP.

So I went to California,

• I began my year doing a Daniel fast, usually 21 days. My goal was 40, but ended up just doing 31. Daniel fast = Only fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. No meat, processed, or dairy. I also did no social media for those 31 days (fb, ig, snap, tw..)

• I job hopped for almost 3 months and did gigs and what not 
• My focus at first was hard to maintain, but as of now, being that I have Jesus in my life more than ever, He has fixed my focus more and more.
• Started working out A LOT and loved it
• I really didn't do much, just worked on myself.

I had a lot of time to myself because my phone was dry as well haha. My phone would be on full battery all day. The first week I just felt lonely, super lonely. It got better with time and I really was just able to learn more about myself and since I had less distractions, I was able to see what God was trying to say to me.

At the end of my 31 day fast, literally a day after, I received a full time, good paying, "adult" job with the Grace of God. In the midst of all this I began attending this church that changed my life even more.
Also adding: Before I moved, I asked God for genuine real Jesus loving friends when I moved. I need a Spiritual Father or just leaders I could follow.
.....And that is exactly what I have got in this church. I have never been this active in church to be honest lol. If I am free now these days, it's usually dedicated to bettering myself or with my chuuuch fam.
-People will say you don't need to go to church to know God or love God...okay you're right, BUT does that mean you are reading your bible at home or seeking him on you're own time. Or do you just love him and that's good enough...
I believe that either way, in your growth you need influence from experienced and wise people. You need encouragement. You can't do all that for yourself. God uses people as resources a long your path. Just make sure that you ask God to chose people for you to be influenced by because of course everyone isn't always REAL or can be hypocrites.

Anyways,
It is March now, 3rd month of 2016, and wow. I have never had a year in my life where I went into the new year and actually made real life changes and devoted so much time to continuous improvement daily. What has happened in the past 3 months to me spiritually and mentally could be equivalent to 1 whole year of growing. Everyone's walk is different and people have their own unique relationships with God. Never question Gods timing, it's literally perfect, every second. If it didn't go your way or isn't going your way, be ever so thankful because God really has something better and it will show in due time.  
1 Peter 5:6 says, So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens.

Habakkuk 2:3 says, This vision is for a future time.
It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled.
If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently,
for it will surely take place.
It will not be delayed.

 And in all this you have learned patience. Patience is so valuable. It carries branches of hope, trust, and faith. So in it you are developing strength in 4 different areas just by trusting in Gods path.

These skills: Hope, Optimisim, Faith, Wisdom, Knowledge, Gentleness, Kindness, Love, Joy, Content, Discernment, Trust, are all essentials skills to success. Without these skills you cross a lot of bumps on your path to success.

I asked faithfully and was willingly ready for change.
 "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Mark 11:24"
Verses like these make you crave to see what else the Bible (Life Manual) has to offer.

God wants to help you, but you have to help yourself first.
Help yourself by choosing to let God guide you, to depend on Him fully, and to start to truly Trust in Him.
What most people have misunderstood or mistaken is that to get God's blessings is to follow all the religious laws and change overnight for God to take you seriously. That is not it at all. God is Grace. He understands us and that we sin. Now, you can't take advantage of His Grace an treat Him like a Father you just go to when you're in need or you're not trying to grow with Him. You will just stay in your place.

When you're ready and willing for your next level, God will be right there.
Don't chose God when you're comfortable and done having earthly fun, care for yourself and chose to acknowledge how much potenital you have in this world.
I can guarantee 90% that this walk will be lonely, but time with only God is better spent than being in the world questioning everything.

Proverbs 3:5-6 says, Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.
